Mezli

Mezli is a fully autonomous restaurant that serves freshly prepared Mediterranean grain bowls. Customers order through a digital interface on the side of the unit, and two independent assembly lines inside turn refrigerated raw ingredients into hot meals that can be picked in lockers at the pickup end of the unit.

I led a team of designers on the industrial design and UX design for this project. We created a modern take on a casual, Mediterranean beach vibe, with a healthy splash of Mezli's signature blue to hint at the Greek-inspired food and draw attention from afar.

Mezli opened their pilot unit to the public in the Summer of 2022 to high foot traffic and great reviews.
