R-Zero Arc
R-Zero was founded at the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic to respond to the urgent need for disinfection equipment for everyday spaces. R-Zero aimed to make UV-C technology, long used in hospitals, affordable and easy to operate so it could be used in offices, restaurants, sports venues, and other common spaces.
I managed a team of designers on this project, working closely with an engineering partner and R-Zero's team to help bring this product to market in 5 months while under lockdown, meeting in-person only to review prototypes.
I led two more products that followed quickly after Arc for R-Zero. Arc booked $5 million in sales within the first three months of launch, and R-Zero has raised $170M in funding to date to further their vision of safer, cleaner everyday spaces.
